Spencer serves as the Nocatee Campus Pastor. Prior to coming to First Baptist Church, he served as a Senior Pastor at Vine Street Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky and worked in higher education. He is a certified biblical counselor through the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC) and is the co-author of three books: Letters to a Romantic: On Dating, Letters to a Romantic: On Engagement, and Letters to a Romantic: The First Years. 

Spencer has been married to Taylor for 10 years, and they have four children. They love spending time outside in the beautiful Florida weather and being with their church family at First Baptist.
