Seth (M.A., California Baptist University) loves that he gets to help the kids, students, and adults at the Nocatee Campus see Jesus and respond to him in song. Seth began pastoral ministry at First Baptist Church Fisherville, KY, where he served four years before moving to Jacksonville in 2018. He served in various roles for five years at the FBC Jacksonville’s downtown campus before his current role as the Nocatee Campus Pastor of Worship.
In Colossians 1:28-29, the Apostle Paul says that the goal for which he toils and struggles is to present everyone mature in Christ. Convinced that music is a vital tool in seeing people come to know Christ and grow in Him, Seth is passionate about using music as a means of evangelism and discipleship.
God has blessed Seth and his wife Emily with six children: Hollis, Oliver, Sage, Finley, Quincy, and Iyla.
Seth’s favorite thing about First Baptist is the people. It is a tremendous gift to live life with a community of members working together to reach all of Jacksonville, with all of Jesus, for all of life.
