Frequently Asked Questions

What is the cell phone policy for students at camp?

We want camp to be a life-changing experience for every student, free from distraction. For this reason, we kindly suggest that cellphones be left at home for Student Camp.

If cell phones are brought, we will securely store the phones at check-in at the Nocatee campus on Monday morning and hold them until we depart from the property on Friday morning.

Phones are a normal part of their life, and staying connected is important. But, at camp, we believe students must be fully present to build friendships, have fun, and hear from Jesus.

After doing years of student camp, we have witnessed phones significantly distract from all the good things we are praying would happen. This phone policy reflects best practices at nearly every major church camp, increases your return on investment, and reduces distraction.

Once camp is over, we believe students will not miss their phones as much as they’ll cherish the memories of bonding with their friends and drawing near to Jesus.

Having said that, if you have concerns about your student, please reach out to Trevor, and we can make appropriate arrangements.

Moreover, if you need to contact your child, you may reach out to our staff listed on the registration form.

Note: Aside from phones, no other electronics are allowed (Airpods, smart watches, gaming devices, iPads, Kindles, etc.). If a student needs to be sent home because their behavior violates the student code of conduct, the parent/guardian will be required to come to pick up the student.

What is the cost of student camp?
Camp costs $475 per person. There is a $25 discount for multiple siblings. $100 deposit is due upon registering.
Where is Passion Camp held, and where are students staying?

All main Passion Camp sessions will take place at the Ocean Center (101 N. Atlantic Ave.), just minutes from our accommodations. We will be staying in a safe, high-quality hotel just 4 miles from the Ocean Center.

What steps are being taken to prioritize student wellbeing and safety?

  • Church-provided transportation with two adult leaders per van.
  • safe, high-quality hotel just 4 miles from the Ocean Center, with security measures and staff cooperation in place.
