Taron Defevers (B.S., Biblical Counseling, Boyce Bible College) serves as the Director of Ministry Support at the Nocatee campus and is an ACBC certified counselor with a specialization in addiction counseling.
He met his wife, Kristen, in California while serving as a resident Youth Director at Compass Bible Church. They then moved to serve on staff at the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC) until they relocated to Jacksonville, FL.
His passion is to exalt Christ through biblical discipleship and to promote biblical counseling in the local church. He is pursuing his Master of Divinity degree from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Taron and Kristen enjoy local restaurants, beach walks, and water activities like paddle boarding and surfing.
