A Six-Part Class on Biblical Finances

A Class to Help You Think Clearly and Live Faithfully with Money

Money is never just about money. It is about worship, trust, fear, contentment, and love. That is why financial trouble is often not just a math problem. It is a heart problem.

This six-part class, Biblical Finances: God’s Word, Your Money, and What to Do, is designed to be deeply rooted in Scripture while also being highly practical. Whether you are young or old, in plenty or in need, you can experience financial pressure. And whether you are young or old, you can also grow into the kind of person who helps others with wisdom, humility, and hope.

This class is for anyone who needs help, and for anyone who wants to be equipped to help others.

What the Class is About

The Bible gives us a clear framework for understanding money and stewardship:

  • God is Creator, Sovereign, Sustainer, and Provider. Everything we have comes from Him.
  • We are stewards, not owners. Every dollar is entrusted to us for God’s purposes.
  • Money is a tool, not a savior. It reveals what we love, fear, and trust.
  • Many money problems flow from heart issues like pride, anxiety, greed, and misplaced priorities.
  • Real financial change begins with repentance and renewed trust, not just a new plan.
  • Practical tools matter, but they must be built on the right foundation, which is God’s Word.

Across six sessions, the class helps viewers build a biblical theology of money, address heart issues honestly, and take practical steps toward faithful stewardship.

This class begins with the foundation and then gets practical. Before budgets, debt strategies, savings goals, or giving plans, we examine what Scripture says about God, the human heart, and sin.

If we skip the heart and rush straight to techniques, we may see short-term change, but we will miss the deeper problem. Jesus teaches that what comes out of our lives flows from what is stored up in the heart. That includes how we spend, save, give, and worry.

Questions This Class Helps You Answer:

  1. What does the Bible teach about money, stewardship, and the purpose of provision?
  2. Why do so many financial struggles come from the heart, not just the spreadsheet?
  3. What sins often hide underneath debt, overspending, anxiety, and lack of contentment?
  4. How do repentance and faith apply to everyday financial decisions?
  5. How should Christians think about giving, budgeting, debt, saving, and investing?
  6. How can you build a financial life that is marked by wisdom, generosity, and trust in God?

If you want a biblical foundation for finances and practical help for real life, this class is for you. Start with Lesson 1, then continue through the full series so the pieces fit together into a clear, faithful framework.
