High School Choir Tour

The Good News Singers, High School Choir program at First Baptist provides students grades 9 - 12 with opportunities to learn more about music, but more importantly their mission in life. Through their learning and performing experiences, students are given the tools necessary to effectively minister while they are here, as well as laying a foundation for their future ministry in the area of God's choosing. We rehearse each Sunday from 4:30 - 5:45 p.m. as a part of an ongoing discipleship and ministry program which culminates with an awesome ski trip in December, a spring tour in March and a summer missions trip - this year to Nicaragua. Our weekly ministry opportunity is every other Sunday night as we lead worship in the main sanctuary for the evening service. It is our privilege to serve our Lord, our pastor, and our church family by providing music that encourages the saints and aids in evangelizing the lost. Many other exciting opportunities are available through this specialized music ministry, including tours at home and abroad, ensembles, solos, small groups, director’s council, Senior Leadership Institute and more.
