Welcome to First Baptist Church High School Ministry!

Imagine hundreds of high schoolers from all over the First Coast gathered together to celebrate their relationship with Jesus Christ. That is what the High School Ministry at First Baptist Church is all about.

Sunday Mornings:  You are invited to our main youth group meeting every Sunday morning at 8:55 a.m. on the first and second floors of the Lindsay Building.

Wednesday Nights:  We meet for Ethos classes in the College and Career Building at the corner of Ashley and Hogan at 5:30 p.m. Ethos classes are where we spend personal small group time in God's Word discussing and learning topics on Relationships, Biblical Living and Apologetics.  Our Refuge youth service meets at 6:10 p.m. in the College and Career Building.  It's a time of praise & worship and to hear the Word of God. You don't want to miss this service...so grab a friend and come join us!

 Our high school students are finding God's answers to the big questions about life, in addition to building friendships that will last a lifetime.

Seniors Leadership Institute meets on Friday evenings at 7:00 p.m. in the Cool Cafe. 
April 2nd meeting has been moved to Saturday, April 3.  Rev. Eppling will give more details.

High School Argentina Trip 2010: Make a payment on your account

The trip dates are Monday, June 21 - Tuesday, June 29, 2010

A balance of $450 needs to be in your account by March 21 for the purchase of your airline ticket. Please check your account to make sure your deposits are up to date. For assistance call the high school ministry at 366-1216 or highschool@fbcjax.com.

Shot records should be faxed to the High School Ministry at 366-1282, with the students name and Camp Argentina in the cover letter as soon as possible.

Wednesday, June 30, 2010 will be our Special Homecoming Concert, to share with the Church all God did through us in Argentina

We are only 4 months away from Camp Argentina, so make sure your shots are up to date, your passport is coming if you do not currently have one and you are continuing to raise support!!!!

Important Dates:

Sunday, April 18, 4:00 p.m. Student/Parent/Chaperone meeting in the Dining Room.  If your student has not selected a ministry team they will do so at this meeting.  Training schedules for each ministry team will also be distributed so make sure to attend! 

Choir Team Required Rehearsals:  (These rehearsals are for students who have selected Choir as their ministry team)

Students remember that your Support Letters should only be sent out to non First Baptist Church Members.

People giving for a particular student(s) can make payments online or you may send in a check (only) through the offering plate with the Students name and Argentina in the Memo line.
